ETI was pleased to have Geet Bhatt on the Board of Directors, beginning Fall, 2018. He joined the board after years of experience with Steve Hansen in the Solar Industry and serving on the ETI Solar Advisory Committee.

Geet is an investor, advisor, and entrepreneur from the United States. He brought to ETI, his years of experience as a financier with a background in investment banking and principal investing in the energy sector having completed over US$4 billion of transactions in the United States, South America, and Sub-Saharan Africa.

Geet worked previously at KawiSafi Ventures, the International Finance Corporation (World Bank Group) and Marathon Capital. He contributed greatly to ETI with his hands-on experience of working with the Boards and Management teams of emerging market companies to scale and grow. In addition, he has advised companies and governments throughout Sub-Saharan Africa on energy sector strategy, development matters, and media relations.

Geet has a BA in Economics from Emory University and an MBA from Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
