ETI Fall Breakfasts: Big Hits!

Team ETI can hardly wait each year to see our partners at the ETI Annual Fall Breakfasts. This year we hosted two: The first in Eau Claire on October 16th and the second in Eden Prairie on November 13th. Take a look!

EAU CLAIRE - October 16, 2025

The Pablo Center was an excellent venue during peak weekend in Wisconsin. Those gathered heard testimonies from the audience - stories that showed impacts on those visiting Karagwe.

Partners in Eau Claire brought in over $30,000. to advance Project FURSA and the MEL House in Karagwe, Tanzania. We are grateful to the individual donors, to Spirit Lutheran Foundation, and to Market Family Gifting for the generous support. A special thanks to our recurring donors from Wisconsin, whose very names encourage us each month with their support.

Spirit Lutheran Church and Foundation know what solid international giving should be.

ETI’s partnerships in Eau Claire launch and support so much progress in Karagwe. Our friend and ETI Board Emeritus, the late Mel Breed, supported ETI for years, hailing its method of distributing funds and procedures for impact evaluation. With Mel’s inputs and insights, ETI framed the “Juice for the Future” program, that funds Project FURSA - the food processing program. After Mel passed away in 2021, ETI honored his memory by establishing the Micro-Enterprise Loan (MEL) Program that provides start up loans for businesses proposed by KARUCO graduates. KARUCO then, proposed the MEL House, a business incubator hub to house MEL Program beneficiaries who need to live away from home in order to operate their business. Mel Breed would love the outcomes of these programs, and we are privileged to honor his memory.

Educate Tanzania, Inc. (ETI) partners with developing communities to promote and sustain economic and social prosperity through education. Since 2010, we have helped our partners establish the accredited KARUCO College of Agriculture on 1000 acres in NW Tanzania, helped jump-start new agri-businesses, powered up the university with a 25kW solar array and battery storage and are constructing a food processing plant adjacent to the college farm plots. Our partners and ETI work together to identify needs, goals and achieve outcomes. We are pleased with our success and invite you to be part of the story.
