Love Big Like Mel

Mr. Mel Breed

It is almost incomprehensible to us at ETI to think that we have lost our dear friend, ETI Board Member, savvy businessman, lover of Karagwe and picture of kindness – Mel Breed. Mel loved big. We are better people because of Mel, and ETI is a better organization because he gifted us with his presence, insights, profound compassion and friendship. His celebration of life was a spirit-filled testimony of immense gratitude for a life well-lived coupled with intense grief at the cavernous hole in our present lives. I, personally, wonder how to take the next steps after losing a kindred spirit. That said: we will move forward in confidence and courage with the hope, optimism and faith that are hallmarks of Mel’s life. Our heartfelt condolences go out to Leann, Joel, Amy and all of Mel’s family and friends. The greatest of these is love. May we all love as big as Mel.

We are overwhelmed with so many deep losses this year. But as we give thanks in all things, we rekindle our deep gratitude for the lives and influence of:
